About the Student Retention Report

The Student Retention Report examines Fall-to-Fall retention (did students who were enrolled in the Fall semester return in following Fall semester?). The beginning Fall enrollment number may differ slightly for some institutions from other reports that are published (i.e. Prep, Statewide Factbook) because invalid SSNs are removed for the purpose of tracking across institutions. Other Fall numbers reported exclude flex only. Additionally, those in the Fall were matched against the CBM009 to determine if an award was received.
