2-Year and 4-Year (not Texas public) Accountability and Online Resumes

The Accountability System and Online Institutional Resumes have been updated with FY2012 data for 2-year and 4-year institutions (not Texas public). These include career schools and colleges and private and out-of-state public postsecondary institutions operating in Texas under a Certificate of Authority or a Certificate of Authorization.

The Texas Higher Education Accountability System is used to track performance on critical measures that exemplify higher education institutions' missions. The System is modeled on the state's higher education plan, Closing the Gaps by 2015. Its major focus is on the four Closing the Gaps target areas of participation, success, excellence and research.

Accountability

Online institutional resumes, which are required by law (Texas Education Code, Chapter 51A), provide a range of statistical information about Texas public higher education institutions. One-page resumes are available for each institution. The resumes are updated once a year.
