Perkins IV Core Indicator Data

Under the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006 (Perkins IV) and the ammended Act of 2018, The Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V), states are required to submit data annually for federal core indicators of performance to the United States Department of Education/Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTAE) via their Consolidated Annual Report (CAR). Institutions are also required to assess their core indicator performance compared to state targets and outline strategies for improvement as part of the on-line application for the Perkins Basic Grant and the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA). Perkins IV core indicator data is provided below for Texas public community, state, and technical colleges disaggregated by gender, race/ethnicity, and special population categories for 6 postsecondary indicators.
